Risk meets Reward! The more you roast, the more you can score, but you need to safely return to your base first.

Head Hunters

Whenever a player is roasted, they will drop all their gems plus one. Even a player carrying zero gems will drop a gem (0+1=1) when roasted. (You can't pick up the gems that you drop.)

Bring two or more gems to your team's base to score any points. Bringing back two gems scores 1 point; three gems, 3 points; four gems, 5 points; five gems, 8 points; and so on, n log n. Collecting lots of gems means you'll score more points but makes you a more tempting target!

The top left corner of the screen displays your gems (pink), and how many points you can score for your team (silver), if any. The player list shows numbers with these same colors/meanings.

Named after Quake 1.

Details for Running a Server
Details for Level Designers

Any Capture the Flag level works in Head Hunters. However, because gems are used for scoring, don't put too many gems in your levels.

Backwards Compatibility

Clients running JJ2+ v4.3 or below use the wrong HUD and don't see all the gems.
Servers running JJ2+ v5.0 - v5.6 calculate points differently, but clients running v5.7 and above will adjust their HUDs accordingly.
