Find gems and race to the exit!
Treasure Hunt
Red and purple gems are +1, green gems are +5, blue gems are +10. Once you've got enough gems, the words "Find Exit" will appear onscreen and a blue arrow will point you to the nearest exit. Get there and you win the game!
You have infinite health, but anytime you get hurt, you lose gems, and you can't pick them up again until you stop blinking. Different weapons change how many gems you lose. Attack other players to get their gems so you can win faster.
Changes
Treasure Hunt plays the same as in unpatched JJ2, but better:
- Players can't collect their own dropped gems immediately after being shot.
- Bullets shot by blinking players can't hurt other players.
- TNT and Ice (if Evil Ice is on) also cause players to lose gems.
- The top-left-corner HUD shows how many gems are between you and the first (or second) place player. Gems are displayed in pink numbers, not white.
- An arrow points you to the nearest exit.
- Touching an exit will tell you how many more gems you need to win, thus letting you know where exactly the exit is.
- When you lose gems, the number of lost gems is displayed in red at the bottom of your screen.
- When a game ends, the winner is ranked first in the F9 list even if they didn't have the most gems.
- Fixed glitch where player 1 could be killed (by spikes/enemies/etc.).
- Fixed network issue where clients didn't realize gems were collected if they'd been dropped recently.
- Fixed glitch where clients leaving servers sometimes didn't explode into gems.

Details for Level Designers
Your level must have at least one Area End Of Level (#17) or Area Warp EOL (#18) event, and some source of gems. The typical target score is 100 gems, and the official levels contain around 175 gems on average; the more gems you place, the faster the level will end.
Don't include instant death pits in Treasure Hunt.
Details for Scriptwriters
By default, shooting a player with blaster, bouncer, ice, or toaster yields 3 gems, and any other weapon yields 10 gems. The jjWEAPON::gemsLost properties let you change this and even have different numbers for powered up weapon variants.
