Join a Multiplayer Server

You can follow these steps to get to the list of multiplayer servers:

  1. Run JJ2+ and get to the main menu.
  2. Select "New Game."
  3. Select "Party Mode."
  4. Select "Internet Play."
  5. Select "Join another game."
  6. Choose how many people are playing at this computer.
  7. If the "Start Game" option is disabled, you need to pick your internet name. Once you've picked a name (and a rabbit, and fur colors), select "Start Game."

From here, pick a server to join! You can hold Tab to see who's playing in a server, or press F9 to get more info in the list about which servers are the most full.

Multiplayer Culture

Generally, the most people play JJ2+ during European evenings, especially on weekends.

Many servers are "dedicated servers" that are always online. They often run elaborate mutators that change JJ2+'s commands. Here's a partial guide to how some of those servers work.

Keep an eye out for tournaments like Jazz Duelists' Challenge!

On the Web

There are also websites that show the server list, if you don't want to run JJ2+ just to check who's playing right now. Here's a popular one.

Click the blue arrow on each row to open JJ2+ and join that server.

If joining doesn't work, you need to set up the jazz2:// protocol on your computer. The easiest way to do this is running the JJ2+ Installer.
